This cozy quilted pet bed is made by repurposing used kantha quilts. Kantha is a traditional handicraft that originated in Eastern India, where old saris (traditional women's clothing) and scraps are layered and finely stitched. They are hand-sewn for use as bedding and floor coverings in the home and no two are exactly alike. As the quilts are made by layering multiple thin layers of fabric, the longer they are used the softer they become.
