Here at GoodTails Market, we really love pets and think that every one of them should be a treasured family member! We support:

  • letting your dog on the furniture, especially sleeping with you in bed 
  • missing social events because you’d rather spend a cozy night at home with kitty 
  • sharing almost everything you eat with your best furry friends, even if it’s just a tiny bite
  • having deep conversations with pets because they listen better than any human you know

We don't judge if:

  • you let your dog kiss you on your mouth
  • you let pets eat off of the same spoon you’re eating with
  • one of your relatives died and you didn’t cry, but when one of your pets dies, you’re devastated

We've done all these things ourselves, and we think we’re pretty well-adjusted humans!

So cherish & spoil your pets. And you have our permission to use a sick day at work to just stay home and spend time with your pet. 

Partnerships with Animal Shelters & Rescues

We have a special place in our hearts for shelter pets and have created a program to help raise money for animal shelters and rescues. We pay a 20% commission to participating shelters or rescues. Payments are based on purchases that use the shelter’s coupon code at checkout. Only merchandise sold using the shelter’s code are included in commission payments. GoodTails Market is NOT a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Please contact us if you’re a shelter or rescue interested in participating.

About the Founder

GoodTails Market started with my desire to make a difference for animals living in shelters. I’ve spent countless hours volunteering at my local humane society. I’ve walked shelter dogs hundreds of miles and served on the Board of Directors.

I've also been the proud mama to 6 pets: 1 cat: Jack; and 5 dogs: Leah, Nestle, Tice, Ben and Teddy. They were/are all so wonderful & I'm very blessed to have had them in my life! 

Many, many animal shelters are in need of more funding. The cost of vet care, staffing, utilities, building maintenance, etc. can be overwhelming. In taking less of the profits for ourselves, we’re able to give more to animals in need. It’s my hope that GoodTails Market will make a positive contribution to many shelters in the years to come.

So please VOLUNTEER, ADOPT and ADVOCATE FOR YOUR LOCAL SHELTER! They need you. Every donation matters, no matter how small! And you are never too small to make a difference!

And please make sure your pets are spayed and neutered - this directly affects how many animals a shelter takes in.
