Fundraiser Information for Animal Shelters
We’re so glad you’re interested in learning more about our fundraisers! We do fundraisers mostly year-round and can schedule them months in advance. Right now, we only do fundraisers in the United States. Whether an animal shelter or rescue qualifies for a fundraiser is up to the discretion of GoodTails Market.
Our fundraisers rely heavily on social media to promote the fundraiser, so the larger and/or more engaged your Facebook or Instagram following, the better the fundraiser will do. We can also utilize any email list for shelter supporters or followers.
GoodTails splits the sales profits with the shelter for the fundraising period. The shelter is required to post social media images and text promoting the fundraiser and merchandise. These posts will be provided by GoodTails Market. Posts will be daily during the fundraiser, and there will be several posts in the two weeks before the fundraiser starts. The creation of a fundraiser event is also quite helpful.
Animal shelter/rescue names need to be entered during the checkout process in the “Animal Shelter/Rescue Name” section. This is how we keep track of purchases that should be included in the fundraiser. Donations to shelters not running approved fundraisers won’t be accepted or distributed.
