What is BioThane?
BioThane is the latest material for dog collars and leashes. BioThane is actually a brand name – the product is a polyester webbing coated with PVC (polyvinyl chloride, which is a widely used flexible plastic). The coating makes the webbing much moredurable, waterproof and easy to clean. It’s actually stronger and more durable than leather.
