Glad Dog Nation plush pet toys are UPCYCLED kid toys in good condition. They receive donations of stuffed toys, and volunteers turn them into pet toys. They do this to raise money for animals in need.

- Every toy is washed and sanitized in HOT water using biodegradable laundry detergent, and then dried on high heat.
- Plastic eyes are replaced with adorable fabric and felt appliques, and hard noses with colorful pompoms. If stuffing is needed they use premium polyester fiberfill.
- If beads are removed, toys are tumbled in the dryer again to shake loose any that might have been hiding.
- Finally, squeakers or catnip may be placed inside the toy. Openings are sewn with colorful thread to replicate the scar found on all animals who are spayed and neutered.
